Dr. Hsu earned his Ph.D. in Accounting from Temple University in 2014 and his LL.M. specialised in Taxation from London School of Economics (LSE) in 2007. His dissertation at Temple University has received the 2015 AAA Outstanding International Accounting Section Dissertation Award. Before pursuing his doctorate degree, he worked as an international tax consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Prior to joining Texas A&M University- Corpus Christi in 2018, Dr. Hsu served as an Assistant Professor of Accounting and won the Outstanding Advisor Award in 2016 at University of Louisiana at Lafayette. His current research interests include international accounting, financial accounting, and corporate governance. His publications have appeared in prestigious journals including The Accounting Review.
