Graduate Admissions
Admission
Requirements
Applicants must comply with University procedures and meet University
standards for admission. Applicants must submit to the Office
of Graduate Studies and Research a Graduate Admission Application.
Also required are two letters of recommendation from persons
able to evaluate the applicant's professional or academic performance,
a resume or curriculum vitae, and other information that may
have impacted the applicant's decision to pursue graduate study
or deemed important to individual or career goals. Applicants
are required to submit Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT)
scores prior to admission. Generally, GMAT scores will not be
accepted if over five years old. The GMAT is not required of
those who earned a graduate degree from a regionally accredited
university. Please refer to our Graduate
Admissions Checklist for more details about what is required
for admission.
Admission decisions are made on the basis of undergraduate performance, GMAT scores, experience, and other indicators of the ability to pursue graduate study successfully. To be accepted in the graduate program, in addition to other requirements, applicants must be in good standing at the college or university they previously attended. Official notification of the admission decision is issued by the Office of the Dean of the College of Business and is sent directly to the applicant. The College of Business does not have "conditional or temporary graduate" admission categories. Normally, no credit will be applied toward a master's degree for graduate classes taken prior to acceptance into a graduate degree program in business.
