Evaluation: Competitive papers or abstracts will be anonymously evaluated by a selection committee based on relevance, innovation, creativity, and scholarship. Length should be approximately ten typewritten, double-spaced pages. Author identification, including mailing address and telephone number, should appear only on the cover page. Please state on the front page: "Paper for the 2002 SAM International Conference," and specify which track. A special $245 nonrefundable conference registration fee is due and payable within two weeks of notification of acceptance. Authors who have abstracts accepted are required to submit the paper by February 8, 2002.
For other workshops, contact the Conference Chair at the address listed above. Priority will be given to early submissions.
Student Paper Track:
Graduate and undergraduate student papers are invited. This track is held exclusively for students only. Papers authored by faculty and students may be presented in other tracks.  Please state clearly

on the cover sheet: "Student Paper Track," and identify graduate or undergraduate student status.
Best Paper Certificates
will be presented in each track.
Publications:
Papers selected and presented will be published in the 2002 SAM Conference Proceedings and will be considered for publication in the SAM Advanced Management Journal.
